Small Child, Small Update

Here are some things we have done in the last couple of weeks, in brief form as I am once again doing this a little later on a Sunday night than I would like.
* Took Ella to her first BBQ at James and Sam’s. Verdict: the BBQ was delicious. I ate my lamb quota for the year, although I think Ella got a little overstimulated and we had to head home. Luckily she slept the whole way back!
* Watched the beginning of the new Premiereship season. Well, that was mostly me.
* Entertained our friend Sari who came into town with Coquilles St-Jacques in a Champage sauce. I will make this again, it was divine.
* Had some lovely visitors! You know who you are.
* Didn’t sleep nearly as much as we would have liked. Ella is currently sleeping at 2 hours in a row. Even if I am not the one getting up (thank you Tamara!) I’m still not sleeping as well as I would like. Thank goodness for caffeine.
* Kicked our dishwasher for choosing this time to give us grief. It no longer wants to complete its cycle, and just sorted gives up, leaving a bit of less than clean water around. Argh, if the washing machine goes, that’s it, we are moving.
* Tamara and Ella had some adventures; doctors, shopping, art walks, Borough Market, off to the movies and many others. Byron was mostly jealous.
